SAMPLE CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Calscience is looking for Sample Control Technicians. For sample receipt purposes, the person in this position is typically acts as the interface between the client and Calscience.

Typical Responsibilities

• Receive samples on behalf of Calscience and sign custody documents acknowledging such
• Unpack sample coolers, check temperatures, and remove/organize the samples
• Check the custody documents against the actual samples
• Check for proper sample containers and preservation
• Check for accelerated turn around times and short holding time analyses
• Complete sample receipt and anomaly documentation
• Place into and remove samples from refrigerated storage

Requirements / Desired Experiences

• High school graduate, two-year degree a plus
• Attentiveness-to-detail a must
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to function in a fast paced work environment
• Good written and oral communication skills

Desired Work Schedules

• 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday – Friday
• 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Tuesday – Friday; 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Saturdays
