Calscience’s sole laboratory facility, located in Garden Grove, CA, is a 30,000 square foot ultra-modern building originally designed and constructed as an environmental laboratory.

Calscience’s laboratory facility is comprised of numerous individual laboratories for VOCs, SVOCs, Extractions, LUFT, Air, Inorganics, Trace Metals, Bioassay, plus many other areas such as glassware preparation, glassware storage, instrument maintenance, offices, etc.  Each laboratory and its associated HVAC systems are designed to minimize potential cross contamination with the entire building maintained under a slight positive pressure to preclude the entry of trace contaminants that may occasionally be present outside of the building.  All waste management activities are undertaken in areas exterior to the building. 

Calscience’s Sample Control area contains three large sample coolers; one exclusively limited to aqueous samples for VOC determinations.  Each cooler is continuously temperature monitored and electronically linked to the burglary and fire alarm system.  Thus, in the unlikely event of a cooler temperature increase outside of limits, key personnel are notified.

The laboratory is fully networked resulting in the seamless flow of information within the laboratory, between the laboratory and our clientele.
